To improve the conditions of refugee children from Syria living in Lebanon in terms of education and psycho-sociological welfare through a special kindergarten education program and additional health/hygiene education sessions.
Kindergarten program with a special focus on psycho-social activities for 100 children, from 4 to 6 years of age. The program will run for 9 months, from September 2022 to May 2023.
9 puppet shows (one per month) on the themes of health, social inclusion of children with disabilities and hygiene promotion. The plays will be put on for 600 children, under 18 years of age.
Syrian refugees are finding it difficult to send their children to schools in Lebanon for various reasons:
As a result, most of the families have identified the issue of education for their children as a priority to be targeted, since they are kept at home for the whole day and they are getting disengaged from the education atmosphere.
